Hey y’all, I wanted to introduce you to my latest pattern – the Valetta Top! This pattern is solely responsible for my current obsession with rayon challis fabric.
I also have to thank my friend Bev for collaborating on this pattern. I had an idea a while back that I wanted to create a top perfect for embroidery, but I didn’t think I could create an embroidery pattern worthy of it. So I reached out to Bev, and she created three different hand embroidery designs that coordinate beautifully with the pattern. You can buy the embroidery add on pattern from her here.
This design was meant to be embroidered in black and white, but I loved the idea of blue embroidery, and I’m thrilled with how this came out.
The directions for tassels on the top are included in the pattern, and I think they look equally good tied or left open.
Paired with my oldest, most comfortable jeans and boots, I feel like this is a perfect fall outfit for me.
And Valetta is one of my first patterns to include both a copy shop file and an option to add the large format print to your order – so those of you who have been asking for these features for a while, rejoice!
You can get Valetta here, and you can get the add on embroidery pattern here.
