Want to get the distressed look of this tee? First, pay special attention to your fabric choice. If you want the slight fraying shown here, I recommend a lightweight french terry.
Then just make a couple of changes to the sleeve of the Austin:
- Hack the short sleeve pattern piece using the butterfly sleeve instructions in this post.
- After sewing, cut along the bottom edge of the sleeve so that the edge is raw. (Alternately, you can just trim off the hem allowance and leave it raw. The inspiration garment is cut after stitching, though.)
