Hi there! It’s Patti from Simple.Blessed, and I’m so excited to share my newest sundress with you! I used the hack pack included with the Shoreline Boatneck (aff link) pattern to make this super flattering yet easy to wear silhouette.
This dress is seriously perfect for so many occasions – I feel like it could easily work for a wedding, but it’s also casual enough to pair with flip flops for a picnic or trip to the beach!
The darts on the bodice of this pattern made for super easy alterations – after a quick muslin, I took in the back darts a bit to accommodate my sway back, and I LOVE how it made the fit so spot-on. I would never be able to find a ready-to-wear dress that would fit me this well!
The lined bodice and invisible zipper make it so clean and polished on the inside as well as the outside.
This has only been in my closet for a couple of weeks, and I’ve already worn it to a baby shower and a graduation… when a dress fits this well, it’s the one you grab for every event!
Oh, and I can’t forget to mention POCKETS! I mean, need I say more?
